I have previously been involved in many large and ground-breaking personal injury & medical negligence claims which gave me extensive experience. I was also an integral part of a team that represented a young woman who had been involved in a serious road traffic accident. In this case, the High Court was invited to re-assess the “cap” on general damages at €450,000. The plaintiff was awarded a sum of €1,826,380.00. I was also heavily involved in a complex medical negligence case arising from the delay by a hospital to perform a Caesarean Section. As a result the child suffered catastrophic injuries and requested full time care and assistance.
